Paul Shafranski, Esq.

Co-Founder & Partner

Paul handles all family law matters including divorce, time-sharing (formally “custody”), child support, alimony, distribution of assets (including family businesses, investment plans, retirement plans and real property), modification and enforcement of prior court orders, paternity, prenuptial and post-nuptial agreements, and domestic violence injunctions.  Paul also prepares wills and trusts in order to aid clients in their transitions.  He is also trained in the Collaborative Law model.

A Florida native, Paul grew up in Winter Park and attended the University of Florida in Gainesville for both his undergraduate degree as well as his Juris Doctor.  While in law school, Paul served as a managing editor on the Florida Law Review and also graduated in the top 20 percent of his class.

Paul’s interest in family law began before he attended law school when he worked as a legal assistant for Teris Deitsch.  Working with Teris, Paul saw firsthand how a compassionate and innovative approach to family law matters helps clients find their way through difficult times.  After spending years in the hectic world of corporate law, Paul has returned to his roots at Artemis Family Law Group, where he is able to focus on a client-based practice.

Paul also specializes in appellate law, as he spent over two years serving as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Fourth District Court of Appeal for Judge Cory Ciklin.  Paul is experienced in appellate motion practice, procedural issues as well as substantive briefing.

Paul is a member of the Orange County Bar Association, where he currently serves as Co-Chair of the Civil Rights Law Committee.  Paul is also a member of the Central Florida Family Law Inn of Court, the Collaborative Family Law Group of Central Florida, as well as various voluntary bar associations, including the Hispanic Bar Association of Central Florida and the Central Florida Gay and Lesbian Law Association.  Paul also serves on the Possibilities Group of the Peace and Justice Institute, an organization that promotes peace and justice for all and aims to promote inclusive, caring, and respectful environments.
